Holiday Lookbook Part 3; Boho Chic & Spanish Seafronts

After a few weeks of hunting for a nice, not tacky, maxi dress, I found this lovely boho piece on ebay. Originally from Zara, I think it must have sold out in record time making it very tricky to find one that wasn’t stupidly overpriced. I have seen some sights on ebay regarding Primark items, yes PRIMARK items that are priced even higher than they actually cost to buy from Primark. I just don’t understand why buyers are tripping over themselves to pay silly money for something from bloody primark?! I get the whole limited edition thing, once it’s sold out you’re pretty much screwed but there are other shops, other similar items. Same for Kate Moss from Topshop range, some nice stuff but no way would I hand over £200 for a dress.

Anyway I digress, I’d seen a few bloggers wearing this item and I thought it would be nice as something to wear over a bikini or teamed with shorts and a t-shirt. I really loved wearing this outfit, it made me feel very bloggerish! If you’re wondering about the backdrop for my holiday lookbook series, these pics were taken by the almond trees surrounding the villa we were staying in. I’m going to miss having all that natural light in my photos, winter has set in over here in Northern Ireland so it’s back to the dark and gloomy nights!

Zara maxi dress from ebay, new look wedges, h&m shorts, h&m vest top, h&m hairclip, new look earrings

I thought I’d share a few of my pics from the area we stayed in, including the villa which was lovely and spacious. The view from the balcony was beautiful and having our own private pool was literally the best idea ever. No need to feel self-conscious lazing by the pool in your bikini, you can let it all hang out or walk around naked and no-one will care! (Although I must stress I did not waltz around naked).

I spent most of my holiday listening to Lana Del Rey’s album. Can’t believe I only recently discovered it! Always loved her style but just never got round to listening to her music. Summertime sadness and blue jeans are a fave but I can’t really fault any track on the album.
